The reality is that most business relationships don’t amount to much. Personally, I blame social media.

It used to be that having a relationship with someone meant something. There was a bond of trust. You knew each other and the relationship was something of value.

Now it’s about quantity and superficiality.

LinkedIn connections.

The saddest part is that people really think these are relationships.

And they put a lot of time and effort into increasing their numbers.

The Secret Power of Social Media as a Search Engine

I’ll admit my opinion of social media has changed pretty dramatically over the past 12 months. What I never could quite figure out was, what was the application for experts marketing their services, or those in the b2b space?
